The report says that the Moto Watch 100 would pack a 1.3-inch circular LCD panel with a resolution of 360 x 360. It’s also featuring an aluminum case and a plastic backplate. The wearable weighs 29 grams and has dimensions of 42 x 46 x 11.9mm. The watch band would be 20mm wide, as per the leak. Although previous reports mentioned Bluetooth 5.2 support, it seems like the Moto Watch 100 will be powered by the slightly older Bluetooth 5.0 standard. A 355 mAh battery will power the new wearable with sensors to track your heart rate, SpO2, sleep, steps, and more. There’s no word on the number of fitness modes it will support. But we expect to have more information on these aspects during the official unveiling. A press release from the company was leaked recently, revealing that the wearable would focus on the budget segment while providing a premium look and feel. The Moto Watch 100 is reportedly going into mass production this month. So we may not have to wait too long to learn about Motorola’s latest wearable. While information is scarce on its operating system, it’s likely to run on Google’s Wear OS. The Lenovo-owned brand initially wanted to bring the Moto Watch 100 in June this year. However, the company had to delay its arrival for reasons yet unknown. It’s been a while since we’ve seen a wearable by Motorola. The company appears to be moving away from the iconic Moto 360 branding with the Moto Watch 100. However, the design of the new smartwatch appears to be pretty similar to the 2020 Moto 360.
