Lenovo Glasses T1 specs & features
Design-wise, the Lenovo Glasses T1 looks like a standard pair of black sunglasses but is quite bulky. The left temple has a USB Type-C cable attached to it for power. You get two micro OLED displays of 1,920×1,080 resolution refreshing at 60Hz. Each display is TUV certified for TUV low blue light and reduced flicker. Lenovo promises incredible color richness and a super-high contrast ratio of 10,000:1. Each temple also has a built-in high-fidelity speaker for sound output. The glasses are compatible with Android, iOS, and Windows devices. But more than specs and design, it’s the feature set that will attract people to the Lenovo Glasses T1. It gives you a private, portable big screen for your phone or a private monitor for your Windows computer. Whatever you may be doing on your phone or computer — working, playing games, or just checking social media — you can see the content on a big screen in front of you. You can even use it for content consumption from streaming apps such as Netflix. Lenovo is touting the Glasses T1 to offer a secure work environment in public places. In this hybrid work culture, many people are seen doing their office work in parks, cafes, and other public places. However, it isn’t always safe to publicly display critical office documents on or computer screen. These Lenovo smart glasses allow would to work discreetly on a screen that is only visible to you. Lenovo says its latest AR glasses are designed to fit comfortably on all head sizes and shapes. For extended comfort, the company ships the product with swappable nose clips and adjustable temple arms. The Lenovo Glasses T1 also has an in-box attachable frame for custom prescription lenses.
Price and availability
The Lenovo Glasses T1 will go on sale later this year. The initial release will be limited to China, where the product is called Lenovo Yoga Glasses. The company says a wider availability will follow in 2023 but doesn’t provide a timeframe. It also refrains from sharing the targeted price point for the glasses but we are hearing they may cost somewhere around $500. We will likely get more details closer to its release.
