Nothing Phone (1) videos are available on Nothing’s TikTok account
In one of them, the device’s design is shown, while the other one focuses on the Glyphs aka those LED lights on the back. There is also a video that shows you the Glyph interface within Android. This is not exactly anything new, as we’ve seen the phone in a number of images and videos thus far. It is some extra content to keep you occupied while we’re waiting for the phone launch. Speaking of which, the Nothing Phone (1) will launch on July 12. The company will send out purchase links to those of you who joined the waitlist, presuming there are enough units to go around on the first sale. For those of you who don’t know, Nothing is using the invite system for this launch, on a first-come-first-serve basis. The invite system won’t be there for long, though, as Nothing will ditch it in time.
Some YouTubers got a chance to use the phone
We know a lot about this phone already. Nothing shared plenty of content, while it also shipped Nothing Phone (1) units to a couple of extremely popular YouTubers. Both MKBHD and Dave2D got to use the device, and made videos about them. The Nothing Phone (1) will be fueled by the Snapdragon 778G+ SoC. It will include a 6.55-inch fullHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. 45W wired charging will be supported, in addition to 15W wireless charging, and 5W reverse wireless charging. Android 12 will come pre-installed on the device, along with Nothing OS, and Nothing Launcher. Stereo speakers will also be a part of the package, and much more.
