We cannot be 100% sure this is the OnePlus 11, but… it is. The fact that this charging speed goes hand-in-hand with the rumors basically confirms it. On top of that, the OnePlus 11 is the only OnePlus smartphone with such fast charging that OnePlus is planning to announce in the near future.
The OnePlus 11 will support 100W charging, as expected
The OnePlus 11 will arrive with a charging brick that will support 5V/2A charging, 5-11V/9.1A output. In other words, it will be able to output 100W of power. That won’t be the fastest-charging OnePlus smartphone, though. The OnePlus 10T supports 150W wired charging, outside of the US. The OnePlus 11 is expected to launch either by the end of this month, or in January, in China. The phone will see its global launch take place a bit later on. Based on what OnePlus did last year, it may launch globally in March or April. The device will be fueled by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. It will also include a 6.7-inch QHD+ AMOLED display, which will be curved. That will also be an LTPO display, by the way. A 5,000mAh battery was also mentioned in rumors. In addition to 100W wired charging, the OnePlus 11 will also support 50W wireless charging. We’re also expecting 10W reverse wireless charging to be on offer.
It will also include up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and UFS 4.0 flash storage
The device will offer up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and UFS 4.0 flash storage will also be on offer, based on rumors. The phone will support 5G connectivity, and offer an official IP certification. A 50-megapixel main camera (Sony’s IMX890 sensor) was mentioned in rumors. A 48-megapixel ultrawide snapper will also be included, as will a 32-megapixel telephoto camera. Android 13 will, of course, come pre-installed on the device, along with OnePlus’ OxygenOS skin. If you’d like to know more about the OnePlus 11, check out our preview.
