Google raised the trade-in value for its phones for the Pixel 6a
If you own an older Pixel phone, and you want to get a Pixel 6a, then you’ll be able to trade in that older phone for a discount. As you would expect, the older the device, the smaller the discount. Also, you can’t trade any devices older than a Pixel 3. When you want to trade in your device, it can’t be damaged. You’ll want to make sure that the screen is not cracked, that it turns on, and that it actually functions.
Pixel 3 series
Your old Pixel 3 devices will fetch you a pretty based on the model and the storage configuration. A Pixel 3 will get you $85 for a 64GB model and $100 for a 128GB model. A Pixel 3XL will get you $100 off for a 64GB model and $110 for a 128GB model. Given that the Pixel 6a is so inexpensive, these discounts are pretty decent. A Pixel 3a, however, gives you a major jump in price. A Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL will knock $300 off of the price. So, you’ll get the Pixel 6a for the price of a cheap Blu phone.
Pixel 4 series
Moving onto the Pixel 4 series, we’re seeing some major numbers as well. A Pixel 4 and Pixel XL will get you $290 for a 64GB model and $300 for a 128GB model. A Pixel 4a and Pixel 4a 5G will fetch you a cool $300 off.
Pixel 5 series
It doesn’t matter if you’re using the Pixel 5 or Pixel 5a, you’ll get $300 off of the original price. If you’re on the fence as to whether you should buy a Pixel 6a, then you still have time to mull it over. Google extended this deal all the way until September 24th. You have all the way until the first day of Fall, so no rush.
